Ok, so this movie isn't really new. It's from 1998. It stars Jeff Bridges as The Dude, John Goodman as Walter Sobchak, and Steve Buscemi as Donny what's-his-name. Besides the main cast, there's a lot of great actors in the background, such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Flea, and many others.
So, the movie's about this slacker, Jeff Lebowski, calls himself The Dude, who came to his home one evening to find two robbers in there. They beat the crap out of him and one of them pees on his rug. They had him confused for another Lebowski, The Big Lebowski, some millionaire. So, The Dude takes upon an adventure to recover his rug, and a lot of shit happens.
The dude fights nihilists, confronts an overly sexual feminist, gets drugged by a mob leader, bowls, and a bunch of other shit happens, but the great thing is how he always keeps his cool, no matter what happens. Why? Because he's The Dude, and The Dude abides. So yeah, if you can buy this movie, then damn it, buy the movie! It's literally one of the best I've seen in my life.
